我的第一张照片, I explored 巴黎 Fashion Week as a cultural and 时尚 event that happens twice a year. Since 时尚 trends and sales have been such a large part of the 巴黎ian economy and culture ever since Louis the 14th’s reign, I felt like this was an important subject to photograph so those who are not currently 巴黎留学 can also experience the magic. To capture the essence of the hustle and bustle of 时尚 week, I went to the Christian Dior 时尚 show at the Jardin des Tuileries on Tuesday, 9月. 27, 2022.

为了这次拍摄, I went out with my Canon 5D Mark IV and my 24-105mm lens so that I could capture close ups, as well as wide angle shots to have a large variety of pictures to pick from. 当我到达活动现场时, there were hundreds of fans, 摄影师, and influencers waiting outside the runway to get a selfie with their favorite singer or to see what the guests were wearing.

I was surrounded by celebrities, 创意人员, and the most 时尚 forward crowd so I decided to photograph the people I saw, in addition to the outfits and accessories. I was lucky enough to photograph Shailene伍德利, 罗莎蒙德派克, 还有其他演员, 歌手, 模型, 等.

然而, rather than just focusing on photographing the celebrities, I also took pictures of the beautiful environment and outfits worn by the bystanders waiting outside. 通过这些照片, my purpose was to convey the excitement and chaos that occurs in 巴黎 during its famous 时尚 week.

I feel like this is shown through my use of a shallow depth of field, 紧框架, and detail oriented photographs. 就我个人而言, this whole experience was very exciting for me to photograph, as this was my first time experiencing 巴黎 Fashion Week and being surrounded by so many talented individuals.
