地理位置 of the City: 布拉格 Study + Internship in 布拉格 Program Spring 2025 Semester

This course explores how the city of 布拉格 has grown, changed, and developed over time. The course examines the physical aspects of the city's structure, 包括规模, 区, 基础设施, 公共空间, 还有绿色区域. The course also considers how the prominent and hidden physical and sensory clues the city provides to its observers illuminate its history, economic and socio-cultural dynamics and shape the most recent changes and issues facing the city. The course topics and field studies give students an opportunity to record and interpret their observations of the city while critically reflecting on the evolutionary processes of place making to appraise how various 布拉格 spaces are utilized and appreciated in the present day. The course integrates various topics and approaches to studying the city as space to help students develop an interactional relationship with the city not only as an object of study but also as a lived experience.
